When do you accept money for commissary?
We only accept money orders or cashier's checks which must be sent through the U.S. Postal Service. Either must have inmate's full name, date of birth and/or Social Security number. Either must be sent in envelope by itself to:

What can I bring in for the inmate?
Hygiene items, underwear, etc. must be purchased thru the detention center commissary. The detention center has a medical services provider. Reading materials are furnished through the detention center library.

How much money can I put in an inmate's commissary account?
Any amount is acceptable.

Do you accept personal checks?
No, we only accept money orders or cashier's checks thru U.S. Postal Service.

When is visitation?
Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

What do I need to do to visit an inmate?
You must bring a current and valid photo ID with you to visitation. All visitors must be dressed appropriately - no revealing attire can be worn during inmate visitations.

How long will I be able to visit?
Each inmate may receive two 10-minute visits each Wednesday.

Must my infant have an I.D.?
On the first Wednesday of each month, children may visit. ID is not necessary for children.

Can an inmate call me from the jail?
Yes. Inmates have access to a phone from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day. We have a special detention center phone system and all calls are collect. They will be billed to the person receiving the call.

Do you accept incoming calls for the inmates?
No.

Do you accept mail for the inmates?
Yes. It must be sent through the U.S. Postal Service. All incoming mail should be addressed as follows:

Can I bring in a letter for you to give to my friend in jail?
No. All incoming mail must go through the U.S. Postal Service

Can I send a package to my friend in jail?
No. We only accept letters or greeting cards through the mail.

Can inmates write to people while they are in jail?
Yes. It must be sent out through the U.S. Postal Service.

Can inmates with no money purchase items through commissary?
Inmates will be provided an Indigent Kit if they have no money. The Indigent Kit consists of toothbrush, toothpaste and hair comb. Soap and linens are furnished by the detention center. If an inmate has no money, writing materials will be furnished for correspondence to inmate's attorney only.

Are religious services and counseling available in the jail?
Yes. Inmate may request to see detention chaplain. Voluntary religious services are offered. Religious counseling available upon request of inmate's religious provider.

What time are video arraignments?
Video arraignments are held Monday through Friday at approximately 9:00 a.m.

Do you release warrant information over the phone?
No.

Can I bring in items during the holidays for my family member in jail?
No.

Can inmates continue their employment while they are in jail?
No.

Can inmates receive counseling while they are in jail?
Yes. We have Mental Health counseling and an Alcoholics Anonymous Program available.

Can inmates receive their medications while they are in jail?
Yes. We have a medical staff available and inmates can receive their personal medication at request of medical staff.
