Structural Condition

 

Walls  - list, lean, buckle, rotted, deteriorated, damaged, holes, or cracks

 

Floors or roof – inadequate supporting members

 

Foundation – deteriorated or damaged

 

Steps – failing or collapsing

 

Egress – inadequate for escape during fire or panic

 

Interior – walls and ceilings suitable to promote sanitation

 

Exterior – weather and watertight

 

Chimney – defective, deteriorated or danger of collapse

 

Floor – wood floors on the ground

 

Plumbing

 

Supply - Not connected to a potable water supply or approved sewage

 

Facilities - No kitchen sink, lavatory, tub/shower, toilet, or hot / cold water

 

Maintenance - Poor condition, needs repair

 

Accessible – Not in a separate room, no privacy

 

Heating

 

Room temperature less than 68 degrees, at a point 3 feet above the floor

 

Insufficient outlets for heating appliances

 

Electrical

 

Habitable Room - Less than 2 outlets with ceiling lights
