Voter turnout in Cleveland County and throughout the State of North Carolina has been stronger for early voting than in the previous midterm election in 2014. More than one million people in North Carolina took advantage of shorter lines and cast their ballots during early voting.
North Carolina has several hotly contested races both statewide and locally.
